Wie man Leistung in Kältetonnen (RT) in BTU pro Stunde (BTU/h) umrechnet.

Eine Kühltonne entspricht 12000 BTUs pro Stunde:

1 RT = 12000 BTU/hr

Eine BTU pro Stunde entspricht 8,33333 × 10 ^-5 Kältetonne :

1 BTU/hr = 8.33333×10^-5 RT

Die Leistung P in BTUs pro Stunde (BTU/h) ist also gleich dem 12000-fachen der Leistung P in Kältetonnen (RT):

P_(BTU/hr) = 12000 × P_(RT)

Beispiel 1

Konvertiere 3 RT in BTU/h:

P(BTU/h) = 12000 × 3 RT = 36000 BTU/h

Beispiel 2

Konvertiere 5 RT in BTU/h:

P(BTU/h) = 12000 × 5 RT = 60000 BTU/h
